So caring staff, good service, panoramic views. Lots of outstanding food for meals. Standard queen studio was adequate and bed was really big. Very clean pool to relax in too. Not to mention efficient wifi! Relatively quiet location, a few steps away from house of travel group.

The staff was patient, I had an original room with a picturesque view. The breakfast was vegan and there was lots of good food. The bed was comfortable and it was great having coffee, WiFi and terrace. Having different strong drinks in the pool bar was a very nice touch.

Enjoyable location, top-class staff, incredible beds, local breakfast, great value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment, it was long and long. Relaxing view over cathedral. Plus, we stayed at a near distance from a public art gallery. Pool bar and clean pool.

The whole experience was fab. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the hotel was incredibly beautiful and had fine atmosphere and staff. Kindness from the whole staff. Excellent dishes were served at the traditional restaurant.

Excellent value for money for this area. Kitchen allowed us to cook. Merivale district definitely deserves exploring. Appetising food for breakfast at the restaurant...

Incredible room, FRIENDLY atmosphere. Only 20 min walk to downtown. The bar staff makes you feel at home.

The breakfast is satisfactory and the staff is great. Strawberry Fare, where you can eat, is within walking distance to the hotel.

There was nothing I didnt like.

If you want to eat nearby, try Keo Thai, which is situated 400 m away. We really enjoyed pavilions. Excellent home base for a city trip in Christchurch! The hotel met the purpose, we would stay here again
